Terms and Conditions for Lost Packages

1. Scope of Responsibility

1.1. The shipping company assumes responsibility for packages from the point of acceptance until delivery, subject to these terms and conditions.
1.2. Responsibility excludes force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, and government restrictions.

2. Definition of Lost Packages

2.1. A package is considered "lost" if it cannot be located or delivered within [XX] days after the expected delivery date.

3.1. The sender or recipient must notify the company of a lost package within 5 days of the expected delivery date.

9. Amendments

1. Scope of Liability

1.1. The shipping company provides courier services for the transportation of goods, but does not assume liability for the contents or condition of the packages once they are accepted for shipment.
1.2. The sender and recipient acknowledge and agree that the company is not responsible for the contents of the package or any loss, damage, or theft that occurs during transportation or delivery, except as outlined in the compensation policies.
1.3. The company assumes no liability for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business.

2. Shipping at Your Own Risk

2.1. All shipments are made at the sender's or recipient's risk. The company does not guarantee the safety of the items being shipped.
2.2. The sender is solely responsible for the packaging and labeling of the shipment. Any failure to adequately package or label the shipment may result in damage or loss, for which the company shall not be held liable.

3. Insurance and Risk Mitigation

3.1. Customers are encouraged to purchase third-party insurance for the full value of the goods being shipped.
3.2. The company offers limited liability for lost or damaged packages, as described in Section 5, but this is not a substitute for purchasing separate insurance.

4. Exclusions from Liability

The company will not be held liable for the following: 4.1. Damage to or loss of items due to improper or insufficient packaging by the sender.
4.2. Items prohibited by law or the company's prohibited items list.
4.3. Any loss, damage, or delay caused by events beyond the company's control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, and government regulations.
4.4. Loss of or damage to valuable, fragile, or perishable items unless separately insured.

5. Claims Process

5.1. Claims related to lost or damaged items must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the expected delivery date, and must include all required documentation as specified in Section 3.
5.2. The company reserves the right to refuse claims for items that were not adequately packed or declared at a value equal to or exceeding their actual worth.

6. Indemnification

The sender agrees to indemnify and hold the company harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of the shipment of any goods, including but not limited to claims from third parties or governmental authorities.

The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
